Who We Are
A Little More Support DC (ALMSDC) is a nonprofit organization located in the Nation’s Capital, assisting individuals with limited means and access to resources in addressing their social determinants of health to improve their quality of physical and mental health.
Through a staff comprised of mental health and substance abuse counselors, ALMSDC is working to turn underserved populations into thriving, sustainable communities.
Mission
ALMSDC Addresses the Social Determinants of Health for individuals with limited means and access to resources within the District of Columbia to restore health, hope, and opportunities through personalized support plans.

To work with community partners, local and national governmental agencies, mental health professionals, and health care workers to turn underserved populations into thriving, sustainable communities.

Case Management
We provide comprehensive case management for individuals looking to get help with their substance abuse disorder.

Peer Recovery Specialist Training Program
We provide individuals who have had a previous issue with Substance Abuse and have maintained at least a year of sobriety the opportunity to become Peer Recovery Specialists.
